Today is our one year anniversary. One year since I unexpectedly fell in love after the kiss that started it all. One kiss is all it took that night, and we were inseperable. Happily, in love, perfect for one another…The friendship we had before that kiss was the perfect platform for us to build upon, and today on our one year anniversary I am happy to say that we are still building, and we are still growing, and throughout it all we love one another more than anything on this earth. As we look towards our future, it is comforting to know, that no matter what happens, our love for eachother is irrevocable, and knowing that, makes it much easier for us to hold hands and face this world head on. Its like…I can’t help but to feel this way.
The choice was not mine,
I said I love you within a day…the sweet and soft spoken words escaping my lips were mine, but I was in a haze-y place. smelling the scent of your skin, the sounds of your breath, the soul you showed me hiding deep within. I couldn’t help but to get lost in those cobalt blue eyes. Especially on those days that they look green, I find myself exploring the inner depths of your soul. The warmth they exude took me to a place I’d never thought i’d go. I give you all I can give.. when I can give it, and even if its noteverything, you are patient, caring, and understanding. It feels good to be irreversibly in love. Knowing, that no matter what, there cannot possibly be someone out there better for me. I’ve found my one, and for that I am eternally grateful.
